The Big Show! At your house!

Monday June 22nd

Live at 12th & Porter in Nashville, TN.

Performing the entire new album “Red Revelations”, including “Bad Things (Theme Song from TRUE BLOOD), with my very rocking band!

The show will be recorded in HD video with 4 really expensive cameras. It will be beamed live right to you fine folks of the InterWebNets.

I don’t understand how it all works. Frankly, I don’t even care. I’m just glad to finally make it onto your desktop.

The show will be at 9 p.m. CST and we’ll put the URL up here at JE.COM so you can tune in.

See you there…you might wanna clean your room…we’ll be watching.

Thanks to TRUE BLOOD, I have become familiar with your talent. Thanks to this site, I have discovered that I like your other work as well. I am not sure what genre you claim to belong to, or IF you do for that matter…but, whatever it is, I like YOU, your style, and your band.

I look forward to tuning in to the show! I also hope you will consider coming to Sacramento very soon! Thank you for your unique sound and great tunes!

ah y’know if it weren’t on a Monday night, I’d totally make the trek up to see in person. Come to Atlanta, dangit! Smith’s Olde Bar, or Eddie’s Attic or something, please! I know, just another person moaning for more. Instead I’ll just say – Can’t wait to see the webcast and get my shiny new Jace Everett cd! yay!

I should be so lucky to have “just another person moaning for more”, keep moaning!! I love ATL and hope to be there sooner than later, I promise. Eddies Attic is a great venue. Talk it up, spread the word, the more you guys share the love the more likely I’ll be able to get to your town. And trust me; I wanna get to your town!

    Susanna,

Thanks for checking it all out. I don’t claim a genre. Hopefully, just good music. It’s great that you took the time to learn about my music. Spread the good word!

    jace,
what’s a girl gotta do around here to get an E for effort. I’m willing to head to my hometown Nashville, or the place I lived before MIAMI – ATL – in case you have no interest in sunny cali. but don’t make me feel so ignored; i’ll be crying in my true blood (assuming you watched the show :)

As a rule, Weston Boys musicians don’t like Chicago. I think it’s too cold for you Southern boys. But please, please, for the love of all that is good in this world, head north to the Windy City! We’d love to listen to you do your thing!

Will this live performance be available for watching after it’s recorded? (Is that a dumb question?) Another question, this one not so dumb: will you make an announcement here when Red Revelations is available for preorders?

  12. 12. Rose-Anne June 12th, 2009 at 2:41 pm

Uh, scratch that second question. Apparently Red Revelations is available for preorders NOW. See what happens when you live under a rock? Dumb questions, left and right!

  13. 13. JE June 12th, 2009 at 11:31 pm

    EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE… and that’s for effort!
Not meaning to neglect you dearest.

I’ll be in Cali soon enough, promise. It’s a marathon not a sprint.
You are not ignored. Think of it as really weird foreplay!

Just wanted to say how much I love “Bad Things,” and the rest of your music. I got hooked because of TRUE BLOOD. Such a sultry voice—I had to know more about the singer. And now, I’m a fan. If I catch wind of you coming to visit up here in Oklahoma, you can bet I’ll be there to see you—providing there’s wheelchair accessibility. Anyway, great music, great songs and “howdy” from the Sooner State.

    Jace,

I LOVE your voice and music. You are amazing. Please, please, please perform in Dallas soon.

I’m ashamed to say that I hadn’t heard of Jace Everett here in the UK till Trueblood.
Now I’m anxious to get a CD ,,,,,, but which one ?

I’d love it all to be just like ‘Bad Things’.

    Who recommends what please ?

  19. 19. JE December 6th, 2009 at 10:31 pm

The new record, “RED REVELATIONS” should be to your liking. The CD includes “Bad Things” and 11 other tracks.

“Old New Borrowed Blues” is an acoustic record. Two guitars and upright bass. It leans in a more country blues direction.

“Jace Everett” is a more pop/country-rock album.

Get the RED REVELATIONS album and you should get your more dark and moody fix.

    Cheers,
    JE

Jace: Red Revelations is my new favorite CD! And I’ve recently turned a group of fans of another singer (who you remind me a great deal of) on to you. We will be in Nashville the beginning of August, any chance of you having a concert at that time?

Of course, should you ever come to Tampa, Florida, I’ll be there!

    Live the good life!

I’ve got the perfect place for you to play here in Cincinnati. However, I’m afraid once you get the band set up there leaves little room in my living room for anyone else. A few of us might be able to squeeze in behind the sofa. I do hope there is a venue here to your liking, for I would dearly like to see a live performance.

Hope you had a very Merry Christmas, and best wishes for a fantastic New Year.

I haven’t bought this many cd’s at one time since I discovered Garth’s music back in…well, many moons ago :) Been quite a while since I have heard a voice that made me weak in the knees. I think way back to Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game song. Luvin’ the tunes so far! I really love it when there is no disconnect between the person and the singing voice. In other words, there is no surprise that that voice comes out of you. It makes the music seem more… for lack of a better word… “real”.

    Peace :)

    Hey Jace,

I am a TrueBlood fan and have always thought Bad Things is a great song but never looked into further. I’m an amatuer musician and just decided to look up who does Bad Things after I rented a Jim Gaffigan DVD and the opening song sounded like your work.

I will defenitely listen to the rest of the album and probably get hooked on it.

In the mean time I got down the open chords to “Bad Things” and I am teaching myself the licks.

Hope to see you in New York.
