Review the Record!

Thanks to all of you who pre-ordered!! CD’s have shipped out of the warehouse and are headed your way!
Due to some shipping issues out of our control the vinyl will be shipping next Monday. We do apologize for the delay, but it was out of our hands.

iTunes is now carrying “Red Revelations” as well and it is of course a great deal at $9.99 for all twelve tracks on the CD version. It will be noted that “Bad Things” will be the dreaded “album only” designation, but if you don’t have that one already… well… you’re not likely reading this blog!

If you’d take the time to write a glowing review of “Red Revelations” at the iTunes store that would be cool! If you want to write a scathing review… well, don’t!

Jace, I just ordered the new CD through your store after reading the great interview you did at The Vault! I can’t wait to hear the entire thing and post a review. I really love your music.

Just received your new CD, couldn’t resist buying it after hearing your song on the trailer for True Blood (I’m in the UK so we haven’t even seen it yet !). Truly delighted….I got married in New Orleans and lived in Texas for a while and the whole mood of your album just sums it up for me. You sure did brighten up my dull day in Dorset, UK ! Kate

You strike me as the kinda guy that’s already read your reviews, but just in case, here’s my blathering from iTunes…
“Did I stumble across Jace’s music thanks to the recent cult-like-phenomena of HBO’s True Blood and the opening credits’ masterful imagery & musical pairing? Sure. It was listening to this entire album that demonstrated he’s not a one-hitter. Compared to his previous work, he seems to have really found his eclectic & artistic voice, there seems to be more cohesiveness and maybe a few more years of ‘prowling’ that have been inspiration to some mesmerizing lyrics and hypnotic music. Everett’s style doesn’t fit into one true genre. From the haunting ‘Burn For You’, there are hints of the best of Springsteen-Cash-Dylan, with a unique, sultry appeal.
Other favorites, the dark ‘The Good Life’ and the vicious vocals on ‘One of Them’, but there are plenty of other audible surprises, the fun is listening and finding which one is now your favorite ABOVE and BEYOND ‘Bad Things’.

No L.A. info, huh? Fine, L.A. makes me feel dirty, and not the good kind of dirty like Vegas or NOLA. I will be visiting family in Nashville and not telling YOU when (which is going to make it really hard for you to buy me a drink)… ;)

I just realized. The internet is a great way to make you into an almost overnight sensation. Your audience becomes not thousands, but millions, as word word hops from site to site. Now that you’re wired in, you get to hear from all the folks in the audience who might not be able to get word to you of how much we appreciate your music. Your music and you very masculin voice are unique with good bad-boy vibes.

The internet can be a good thing, a very good thing. Where’s the best place to order your CD as of July 15, ’09? Surely, it is a boost to hear from us on the net. What good things have happened since you’ve been wired into the net?

Can we order, “Labels are for jam jars.” bumper stickers. I’d buy one.

    Kind regards.

Maybe you should get rid of the HBO. I’m sure Momma and Dad were glad for your visits.

Hi I just wanted to say I have been listening to your records on Spotify for a while now and I think they are AMAZING. Thanks to Tru Blood I will be having 3 new albums to add to my collection. Plus I know this is really shallow but since you seperated from your wife, are you still single because not only is your music sexy but I think you are too :-) . Holly 25 UK
