I’ve Been a Bad, Bad Boy….

I’ve gotten VERY lazy about posting on here. I just made a resolution to post here at least once a week hence forth. (Actually, the president of my label just told me that’s my resolution!)

Anyway, it has been a wild 3 months of touring. We have the night off in Iowa City, Iowa tonight. Tomorrows show is gonna be killer. I’m opening for Charlaine Harris!! Charlaine is the creator of the Sookie Stackhouse character and the Southern Vampire series of books which is the basis for True Blood. To say she’s been a blessing in my life would be a gross understatement. I can’t wait to see her again. If you’re around, then come see us!

Jace – Thanks for the wonderful show on Tuesday in Minneapolis at the Cedar! I was thrilled to finally see you in person and thought Dan Cohen’s rockin’ guitar was the perfect accompaniment to your energetic vocals. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, thank you for signing my Red Revelations LP and for the photo. I hope you’ll consider stopping by again on your next tour!

I don’t know if you record any of your gigs via the soundboard, but I think it would be great if you considered putting together a live album from this tour for sale. I would definitely pick up a copy!

Good luck with the Charlaine Harris gig in Iowa. I’m sure it will be bloody good :)

Thank you so much for playing for us–it was great to see/meet Charlaine and see the new episode of the show, but honestly, the highlight was your performance (g-string snapping included). So glad to have experienced you guys live–looks like you have a lot of fun!

Saw your show in Iowa City and you were killer! Dan is amazing, and we listened to your music most of the way home…just about 10 hours roundtrip! Can’t wait to hear your other song in “True Blood” this season! Thanks for coming to Iowa!

Thanks for coming to Iowa City. Loved your show last night at the Englert! The duo sound was really fantastic and I love your dry, self-deprecating sense of humor. I’m totally digging your latest album and telling other ‘True Blood’ fans they need to check out all your music. Thanks for signing my stuff and taking pictures with my friend and I.

(I was the overly prepared professional concert attender with my own silver sharpie.)

Jace, just bought Red Revelations. Amazing. I wasn’t sure if you could get much sexier, but you did it. Nicely done. Let me know if you’re ever coming to Seattle. We’ll get you to play at one of our Roller Derby bouts at the Key Arena.

Saw the show at Martyrs in Chicago last night. Unbelievably fantastic!! I’ve been listening to the new CD for a while and love it but have to say…Live is way better than the CD! Dan is incredible. Thanks for a great show!

Saw you and Dan both in Iowa City and Burlington the night after with my daughter. Both were great shows though I’d hoped for more of a crowd in B’town. Would love to see a CD or download from your duo shows made available. You two work so well together, and Dan’s work on “Damned If I Do” almost made my heart stop both evenings.

Take care; hope to see you both in Iowa soon.

    Mr. Everett,
Many thanks for playing in our little city, Springfield, Mo., Thursday night. You are a gift to contemporary music and please keep the good work coming; yours is the best music I’ve discovered in years.
    Best, Karen
